Futon

Today, I talked with my coworker about how a marrid couple sleeps.
In Japan, a copule sleeps separately. In the case of futon, they have no choices. It's traditional way.
This seems to sound weird to Americans. She got surprised.
I show her some futon pictures. She asked me "Isn't it cold?" "Don't your back hurt?".
I felt a culture gap today.

600 miles

Today, I drove to Madison, WI to visit one of our customers.
My coworker accmpanied to me so it's not boring at all. We talked about culture, religion, work etc. It's fun time.

The total distance was about 600 miles. It's only me that drove a car. I'm too tired now.

Humidifier

In winter, I suffer from dry air every year.
My skin gets dry and I feel itchy on my shoulders and back. So I have to use lotion every day and night. And also, my throat gets sore while sleeping. Every morning, my throat is not smooth.
We bought a humidifier yeasterday to solv this issue.
It works very well. I should have bought one 2 years ago.

Cranium Whoonu

A couple of our friends just stopped by our house this afternoon.
We played Whoonu from Craniuum, which is a game to find out a preference of a person. Through this game, you can know how well you know other persons. This game is very exciting.
After finishing the game, we enjoyed a gesture game usin the Whoonu cards. I found that I'm good at gesturing. I use a gesture every day since we came to the US. I think this is the reason.

Whoonu is a very good geme for a family or friends. During thie winter, we will enjoy this bull's eye invention.

Dallas

I went to Dallas yesterday and today.
Going back to the airport, we stopped by The Sixth Floor. The place is famous for teh JFK assasination.
I thought the road is broad but it's really small. There are only 3 lanes.
I stood by the point in front of the fence. I could look at cars coming down easily.
The trees in the film were very small but I saw the trees have grown up. So I might feel the place is not vast.
Who shot JFK?

Carving

Tomorrow is Halloween.
We bought a big pumpkin a few weeks ago and we curved it today at last. It's took about 30 minutes. Carving is not so difficult. We could make a fancy lantern.

By the way, we went to a Super Target and saw Christmas tree started to be sold. Holiday season comes!

Order

We ordered some products to JP. The total amount is about US$100,000. It's a huge order for us. I wonder if our manufacturer can meet the requested ETD. We have to wait for a reply from them.
